As part of your rent, you've already paid your 'Communities Contribution' - this funds the fabulous Communities programme, so make sure you get involved in all the the great stuff on offer!



Whether you're sports mad, haven't played since school or are a bit of a couch potato, the Communities Sports Programme offers something for everyone.
Up and running for this year, The Communities Football Programme sees 36 teams battling it out each Tuesday and Wednesday to see who can win their leagues and who can avoid ending up in that bottom slot.

If you have missed out this year, come along to our Community Club event every Friday between 8-10pm for some free informal football.

Every Friday, Sport Sheffield opens it's Goodwin Sports Centre to all Communities' students and provides a variety of sport and activities between 7-10pm for you to get involved in including: football, basketball, badminton, bouldering, squash, table tennis, swimming, circuits, self-defence classes and much more... for FREE!
Come down as an individual or with a group of friends to see what's on offer.
This event is unsurprisingly popular - so please be vigilant with pitch/court availability. All you need are suitable sports shoes/trainers and be dressed appropriately for sporting activity along with your Community Card Fob.
As well as our regular activities - look out for: 'Winter Varsity' and 'Varsity' events, trips, visits and one off events including our very own Communities Fun Run and annual sports tournaments.

For just £1 per class - come and have some fun and get active at our Communities' fitness classes - run once a week at Endcliffe and Ranmoor providing a variety of exercises including Body Tone, Cardio conditioning and Yoga.
Classes will be held on a Tuesday at Ranmoor & Thursday evening at Endcliffe at 7.00-8.00pm and are ticketed.
