Aikido is a Japanese martial art which uses the opponent's force against them, neutralising attacks with strikes and joint locks. Shodokan Aikido introduces competition, which allows techniques to be practiced in a free-play, combative environment.

Suitable for complete beginners. Wear loose clothing (no jeans) with no zips or metal pieces, minimal jewellery, and bring a bottle of water.
