The University of Sheffield Students' Union won its first Gold award for environmental good practice at the 2010/11 Green Impact Students' Unions awards ceremony. We're really pleased with this achievement, but we're still working to do more - and we'd love you to get involved.
So... what does this Gold achievement actually mean? What will change around the Students' Union building? In what ways have these actions benefitted the Students' Union, our members and our environment?
To try and answer some of your questions we've put together a short Green Impact Gold video - to celebrate and explain our work so far - as well as asking a whole bunch of you what you think about it!
Want to let us know what you think? If you've got a burning question not answered here, or you'd just like to make a comment (both praise and suggestions are very welcome), contact us at greenstudentsunion@sheffield.ac.uk, or through the comments form on our Vision 2012 Strategic Goal page.
Being at the forefront of environmental best practice part is one of our Vision 2012 strategic goals.
