By registering for and using this 'Books on a Budget' book exchange site you are agreeing to adhere to following terms & conditions:

• You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your registered username and password.
• No pornographic material of any nature or other material which might place us in contravention of the criminal or other law of the United Kingdom may be sold on the site.
• The University of Sheffield Students' Union does not own any of the books offered and cannot guarantee that any of the information given about books is accurate. All responsibility for sales and pricing lies with the seller and USUS will not accept responsibility for any consequences which may arise from a book listing. By using this site, you agree to accept such risks and agree that USUS is not responsible for the acts or omissions of users on the site.
• We assume no liability or responsibility for sales that do not take place, or are delayed. The seller alone is responsible for answering any questions the buyer may have as to the book’s condition or otherwise.
• A seller may withdraw books from sale without notice. In the event that you have any right, claim or action against any other user arising from the use of the Site, you agree to pursue such right, claim or action independently of and without recourse to us, and you release USUS from all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, arising from or in any way connected with such right, claim or action.
• Users of Books on a Budget are encouraged to register with their University email address in order to verify their authenticity to other users.
• We will not sell your email address or other information about you.
• The University of Sheffield Students' Union reserves the right to delete books, suspend or ban users as appropriate.
• The University of Sheffield Students' Union reserves the right to change the site terms & conditions at any time.
