How does it work?

  1. The seller lists a book
  2. The Buyer finds a listing and contacts the seller via the website
  3. The two can then agree on how to handle the transfer the book and payment

The easiest way to transfer money and books is to do it in person, but please use caution and common-sense. Be cautious about giving out personal details such as address or phone number. It is always preferable to arrange to meet in a public place - such as the Union or on the Concourse - and take along a friend.

If you are at all nervous or suspicious of the situation do not attend the meeting – your personal safety is more important than obtaining a cheap book!

How do I list a book?

You need to register on the website first. You choose your own username, and all that is required is your email address. Your email address is needed to forward you the message from other users. Your email address will remain private.

Once you've registered you can start listing books by clicking the "Sell Book" icon on the menu above. All you will need is a valid ISBN number for the book. The details will be searched for and prepopulated to make listing sales as easy as possible.

Why was my listing deactivated?

Listings that have not been updated for 2 or more weeks may be deactivated in order to keep down the number of books that are no longer available yet have not been removed by their owner. Deactivated books can be activated by their owner at any time by logging into My Books.

Listings that have been inactive for 2 or more weeks are deleted.
