The International Crèche...

• runs between 9.30am - 11.00am every Monday and Friday during university term time (in Meeting Room 1 of the Octagon Centre.
• the crèche supports partners' of International Students who wish to attend English Language classes in the same building.
• the facility caters for up to 15 children from 1 to 5 years.
• it is staffed by a qualified co-ordinator, two paid crèche assistants, and is supported by a team of student volunteers who attend on a rota basis to enhance the children's play experience.
• there is a waiting list and parents wishing to apply for a crèche place must be on or eligible to attend the Partners' English Language Class.

University student's wishing to volunteer in crèche...

• are recruited through the volunteers fair held at the start of each academic year.
• are required to be CRB checked.
• must provide details of a character referee.
• must attend induction training to support the volunteering role.
