Graduation Guide
The guide is mailed directly to the home addresses of all our graduating students providing information about how they and their families can spend their free time during Graduation week from celebratory lunches and evening meals to accommodation and events.

Stalls
We have on-site stalls available throughout Graduation week including in the foyer area, outside the Students' Union main entrance and the concourse. The concourse turns into a week-long celebration with the Champagne and Pimms Bar, Cocktail bar, brass band, as well as stalls selling products and services such as university products and memorabilia.

Ultimate Fair
The Ultimate Fair combines the sports clubs, societies, SheffieldVolunteering and commercial companies. This is a great opportunity to remind students of your brand, as well as recruit, gather and distribute samples to students returning from Christmas break.

Varsity
You thought United versus Wednesday was the biggest derby in town, think again! The black and gold of Sheffield University fight to regain the ultimate sporting prize, VARSITY 2012, taking on Sheffield Hallam at over 60 sporting fixtures. With exciting Winter Varsity Ice Hockey at Sheffield Arena to the tense last day at Hillsborough, the home of Sheffield Wednesday Football club, it is a key event in the calendar. Varsity attracts huge crowds of students from both Universities as well as those interested in seeing the intense rivalry and high quality sports action. This is a great opportunity to get your brand noticed and sponsor the various sporting events.
International Events
Throughout the academic year the International Students’ Committee organises four major events, Intro Fiesta (an Intro Party with a global village and society performances), World Food Festival (a taste of the world with representatives from all 7 regions), World Week (a whole week to learn and experience different cultures) and International Cultural Evening (a showcase of cultural performances by our national societies), all of which are designed to bring people together and showcase cultures and traditions. These events are significant in targeting International students, UK students and the local community. World Food Festival in particular attracts people from around Sheffield who would like to taste foods from different countries.
Entertainment Events
With a wide variety of events happening throughout our venues, our entertainment events have something to offer everyone. Highlights include Population, ROAR, Pop Tarts, The Tuesday Club, Space, Climax and Flash. We also have special events throughout the year including the Freshers' Ball, Freshers' Mania and Valve Sound system all achieving vast publicity and high attendance.
