Film Unit

The Film Unit is an independent cinema of professional quality, located in the Auditorium of Sheffield Students' Union, showing a variety of films to suit all student tastes; old, recent, classics, blockbusters, animation, independent and foreign four times a week.

These films attract a wide range of audiences from first year students to postgraduates and members of staff. With such a varied audience and 400 seat capacity, that is regularly reached, this is a perfect opportunity to advertise.

Slide Advertising

The slide show runs for up to 20 minutes before the film starts, placed on a weekly rotation or on particular showings if you would like to target a specific audience.

Forge has its own professional standard studio dedicated to broadcasting along with its own production studio in the Media Hub.

Video Advertising

Short videos can be played after the slide presentation, this is the last thing to be seen and heard before the actual film reel is played. The video must last no longer than 5 minutes.
