The Department of Town and Regional Planning offers a range of high quality courses that provide excellent preparation for future employment and additional higher education opportunities. Official course data shows that 85-87% of our students are satisfied with the quality of the course and 93-94% have gone on to work/additional study six months after completing the course. For more information on student satisfaction, jobs and salaries after study and other key information about our undergraduate courses, visit the Unistats website. Please note that the Unistats data on the Class of Degree achieved by our MPlan students is somewhat misleading. The data that is currently available on the Unistats website reflects our old 3+1 course structure, in which students graduated with BA at the end of their 3rd year before re-enrolling to complete the fourth and final year of their MPlan degree. The qualifications awarded at the end of third year were classed as 1st, Upper 2nd, Lower 2nd and Pass without Honours. The qualifications awarded at the end of fourth year were classed as Distinction, Merit and Pass without Honours. Unistats has included both sets of qualifications in its dataset, but does not have appropriate chart labels to reflect the qualifications achieved at the end of fourth year. It has categorised them as 'Other Honours' instead. Unistats |
