Open Days

Our Department is involved in two different types of Open Days, the UCAS Departmental Open Days and the University Open Days.

UCAS Departmental Open Days

The UCAS Departmental Open Days are for applicants who are usually in their A level year of study (i.e. final year) and are looking to begin University within that year. The UCAS Departmental Open Days for 2011/12 entry will be held on the following dates:

University Open Days

Our University Open Days are for potential applicants who are usually (but not always) in their AS year of study and are taking the opportunity to visit various Universities and Departments. These University Open Days provide you with an opportunity to visit the University, attend different departmental presentations and learn more about being a student in Sheffield.. We offer you the opportunity to visit our Department after the presentation, where you can meet other staff and current students, take a tour of our department and enjoy some light refreshments.

At each Open Day, a presentation will be given by the admissions tutor Dr Ed Ferrari or one of the other tutors from the undergraduate programme.
