I also spent two years as a Research Associate in the School of Geography at the University of Manchester and, more latterly, as a Senior Research Fellow with the South East Regional Research Laboratory at Birkbeck College.
My teaching interests include local government and the British planning system. My research has focused on the evaluation of planning policy, housing market processes and labour market analysis. I have authored a large number of research reports as well as making contributions to scholarly journals
