• Chloe Skinner, 'A feminist analysis of structural and everyday violence as barriers
to transformative justice: A comparative study of the cases of South
Africa and Israel/Palestine [From 2011] White Rose ESRC Scholarship – part of the Transformative Justice network.
• Gabriela Ibarra: Social housing developments in Mexico: Understanding the dialogue between people and their 'Infonavit houses' [From 2011] Gabi is funded by CONACYT (Mexico).
• Radmilla Schelle: A study examining the effects and implications of indigenous and non indigenous discourses surrounding indigenous land demarcation policies in Mato Grosso, Brazil.’ [self-funded]

• Hassan Sani, Impact of urban management on residential mobility in Jos metropolis, Nigeria. (FURS Scholarship). Completed 2010.
• David Vanderhoven, Community representation and legitimacy in Troyville, Johannesburg. Funded by University Scholarship. Completed 2010.
• Jenni Brooks, The role of identity in personal decision making about sustainable transport. (ESRC 1+3) Completed 2011
