I am an active member of the Regional Studies Association, currently holding the position of Honorary Vice-Chair and being a member of the Foresight Group.
I also act as co-convenor for the international conference workshop theme of `Spatial Planning and Territories´.

The Revitalisation and Regeneration of Small Cities
I enjoy studying and visiting cities, and have become particularly interested in the role of smaller cities, and how spatial planning might influence how viable, vital and sustainable places they might be in the future. I have recently completed a study of five such European cities under the North Sea EU INTERREG Programme.
