Taster workshops

If you would like to get a feel for part-time study at the University of Sheffield, why not book on to one of our taster workshops. We are offering three hour tasters as well as a two day summer taster.

Why attend a taster workshop?

You’ll be offered

• a tour of the campus
• information about support – including financial
• the opportunity to hear what current and former students at TILL have to say about studying with us part-time.

The Two day Summer taster is a more in-depth taster experience that will give you an opportunity to find out:

• what you can expect to achieve from University study
• what a University qualification can do for you
• what support and resources are available to help you
• what you can do to get the most out of your study and how best to prepare.

The tasters are a great chance to meet and work with others thinking about higher level study, sharing your hopes, fears and dreams.
