Our courses

All courses available at TILL are listed on this page. We've grouped them into different subjects to help you find courses related to the area you are interested in.
We offer five types of course:
- a Foundation Programme, designed for learners who feel they need extra preparation to help them get the most out of their university studies
- Certificates, a qualification equivalent to level one of a degree, normally lasting 2-3 years
- a Foundation Degree, academic study integrated with relevant work-based learning undertaken with an employer.
- Lifelong Leaning Programme, a way to study single module for interest, or for professional development
Our courses are flexible and accessible, combining the benefits of studying at the University of Sheffield with the advantages of part-time study.

Degrees
The University is committed to part-time study and its important role in widening access to courses at all levels. However, recent changes in policy and funding have led to a reduction in applications from part-time students across the UK.
For this reason, the University has taken the decision to suspend recruitment to the following Degree programmes while it considers the best ways to offer part-time study to meet the needs of students.
Information Technology and Organisations – BSc (Hons) alternative Certificate in Information Technology
Natural and Human Environments – BSc (Hons) alternative Certificate in Archaeology
Social and Political Studies – BA (Hons) alternative Certificate in Social and Political Studies
Certificate Level alternatives are available. If you would like to discuss this further please contact us by email at till@sheffield.ac.uk or call 0114 222 7000
