Certificate in Combined Studies

The Certificate in Combined Studies is a qualification in its own right but can also be used as a stepping stone to one of our degree courses. It is suitable for anyone wanting to dip their toe into higher education without committing to a longer period of study; and it offers you a wide choice of subjects so you can explore a range of different academic disciplines.

About the course

A student will be required to study a minimum of 30 credits each year, which will include a module that is statutory. If studying on the Certificate in Combined Studies a student would be eligible to apply for a Tuition Fee Loan. For further information please click here.

You are able to study any module at level 1 offered at TILL which is being taught in the current academic year. For more information on what modules are available, please refer to the provisional timetables found on the individual subject area web page ie Creative Writing - Certificate.

The core module is ACE1880 Getting Started with Research.
