Support

We aim to provide a secure, friendly and academically stimulating environment.

Whether you're with us for a semester or a year, your contribution to campus life is valued, and your welfare is important to us.

A team of advisers in Student Support and Guidance works closely with colleagues throughout the University and the Union of Students to provide the best possible services for you.

There's an extensive network of welfare and advice services to help you adjust to life here and give practical help when you need it.

Counselling Service

Counselling provides an opportunity to think and talk in confidence, about difficulties, experiences, feelings, thoughts and problems that may be concerning you now or have done in the past.

Counsellors work to provide the most useful service to each individual. This may include helping you to gain a clearer understanding of your concerns, provide emotional support or help you locate appropriate ways of coping.

We offer a service that includes individual counselling, groups and workshops on relevant topics, and training for those involved in helping others in the University.
