I wanted to experience student life in England.

What did you do for fun/ at weekends?

Day trips e.g. to Peak District; Explore parts of Sheffield e.g. town centre; Short trips to other parts of U.K.

How does the workload/classes/teaching styles vary to back at home?

The workload is less than that at home with a greater emphasis on self research and learning. This may pertain only to the modules I took but I find the curriculum to be less rigorous with little guidance from tutors compared to the situation in my home university.

Sheffield is a relaxed, beautiful place with lots of greenery and many polite and friendly people.
