Why did you choose Sheffield?

I chose Sheffield because I wanted to study in England and it offered classes in communications.

What did you do for fun/ at weekends?

I hung out with my friends that I had met while in Sheffield.

How does the workload/classes/teaching styles vary to back at home?

Compared to UNC, Sheffield does not require as much course work, but the final exams were quite similar. The teaching styles at Sheffield were also very similar to my home university.

Describe Sheffield in a short paragraph

I loved the feel of Sheffield. It is a quaint, industrial town that allows the best of both worlds. You have the city centre at your fingertips and then only 15 minutes away is the Peak District. The hills in Sheffield most definitely take a while to get use to, but the view of the valley on a warm, sunny day makes it worthwhile.

If you could give advice to a prospective student thinking of choosing Sheffield, what would you say?

Do your research and don´t be afraid to ask questions.
