Sheffield Mentoring

You can apply to have a Mentor before you come to Sheffield.

The transition from home or work to university life can be a challenging, exciting and demanding time.

At the University of Sheffield we have "Sheffield Mentoring".

Mentors are volunteer undergraduate students from year 2 or 3 who have undergone training to equip them for the role.

They are normally matched with a small group of year 1 students (the mentees) from their own department, and, if possible, from the same course.
