Vice-Chancellor's open forums

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Keith Burnett, would like to welcome all staff to the first of a series of open forums to be held throughout 2011. The forums are an opportunity for you to talk face to face with the Vice-Chancellor about the current challenges to the higher education sector and the University’s response to them.

There will be no specific agenda for the forums, the Vice-Chancellor will begin by outlining some of his thoughts regarding the external environment before opening up the floor for a question and answer session, and general discussion.

The forums are open to all staff on a first come first served basis and the first two will be held on:

Thursday 6 January, 10.30 – 11.30am in Firth Hall

Friday 7 January, 2.30 – 3.30pm in Firth Hall

If you're interested in attending one of these sessions, please email vc@sheffield.ac.uk with your preferred session.

If you are unable to attend either of these, don’t worry, Professor Burnett will be running similar meetings throughout the new year.
