You said the Library needs to provide more silent study space during examinations
We already zone additional silent study space in the IC at exam times, but we’ve reviewed the use of space at our other sites and are now adapting them to respond to needs of students at different times of the year. The group work areas on Western Bank Library level 4 will now be zoned for silent study only at exam times. We’ve also introduced study zones in our newly-refurbished Health Sciences Library, including an enclosed silent study space, and created more individual study space at St George's Library.
You said the Library needs to buy more ebooks
Our current policy is to buy e-books wherever available and affordable, and last year we allocated an additional £25,000 specifically for student-suggested e-books.
