Your career

You wanted to be able to book a ‘same day’ appointment with a careers adviser.

We introduced a 'book on the day' brief careers advice service. If you have an urgent query, you can now call inpicture or telephone us to arrange an appointment for later that same day.

You wanted more opportunities to network with employers from particular sectors to find out about vacancies, work experience etc.

We organised some mini-networking events (Care/Social Support and Arts and Media in semester 1 and Marketing/PR and Environment/Conservation in semester 2.)

In the ‘International Student Barometer’ survey, you said that you wanted more help getting work experience placements.

We produced the booklet ‘International students: How we can help you find Work Experience’.
