For some students coming to university may be the first time of living away from home for others it may be coming back into education after having time out (e.g. for travel, careers, families etc). Many students become worried about money whilst at university and it is important that you deal with any issues that arise quickly rather than putting things off.
Difficulties paying Tuition Fees
If you are experiencing any problems with paying your fees, it is important that you keep the University informed. If a payment is likely to be delayed from the date originally agreed, you should click on the link below:
Difficulties paying for your university accommodation
If you are in University accommodation you need to visit the Income Office on Level 6 of University House. If you cannot go to the office please send an e-mail to residencefees@sheffield.ac.uk or telephone 0114 2224868.
Difficulties paying for your private accommodation
If you are in private housing you need to contact your Landlord immediately and contact a financial advisor in the Student Advice Centre.
