Accommodation Worries
I don´t (think) I have anyone to live with next year
You are not the only person who feels like this. It takes people different amounts of time to settle in to University and find groups of friends that they are happy to live with. Don´t be worried that you won´t have someone to live with next year most students find a place to live in a house sharing with other students. There are a number of things you could think about doing;
- Try talking -have you actually spoken to anyone about sharing a house with them? They may think that you already have something sorted out or you don’t want to live with them.
Alternatively there are many other options open to you:
Post a message on the ‘new students’ muse board to see if anyone else is in the same position and would like to house-hunt with you
Use the online 'housing finder' to put in your accommodation preferences
Accommodation Services website (remember you are now classed as a current student) they have a small amount of accommodation available for individuals to apply to.
