The Harassment and Bullying Support Network is made up of University and Union staff from across the campus who are available to:

• Listen in confidence to any student who feels they are being subjected to harassment and/or bullying

• Assist complainants in identfying/clarifying the options that are open to them

• Provide continuing support for action that the student decides

What happens next?

When you contact the Network, the Co-ordinator will arrange for a network member to email or call you: the method of contact will in most cases have been agreed with the Network Co-ordinator.

The Network member will then arrange to meet with you in a pre-determined location. This may be their office, or somewhere more convenient for you.

This meeting will provide you with the opportunity to talk about issues that are concerning you. The member will explain their role to you and advise you of the options and routes for resolving the issue. They will also tell you about the support in the University that is available to you. If you would like to make a formal complaint they will advise you how to go about doing so.
