You said that our self-catered properties and catered Halls are not to the standard that is expected
- We have developed the Student Residences Strategy to ensure that the accommodation for students in the future is of a very high standard. This work has already started with the refurbishment of Crewe Flats beginning in February 2006
- New, custom-made accommodation is being built on the site of the old Wolfson Flats as well as the car park adjacent to Earnshaw Hall and the site to the north of Stephenson Hall.
- Crewe Flats will be ready for occupation by September 2006 and the other sites by February 2007.
- Other major building work will begin in the summer of 2006.
- • In the meantime contracts have been entered into with other providers to ensure that we offer the best accommodation we can to students coming to the University.
