Student Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to get to know Sheffield and its people. You can gain career related experience or simply volunteer for something that appeals.

Choose from over 100 options - in student neighbourhoods and the city centre.

Try mentoring, advice work, first aid, mediation or minibus driving and get a free qualification at the same time. Gain skills in conservation, teaching in schools, publicity/marketing, event management, photography, fundraising and lots more.

Make a difference to people who are homeless, elderly, refugees/asylum seekers or who have disabilities and build up a fantastic CV at the same time.

It's really flexible. You can do something just for a day or give a couple of hours each week or fortnight. Training and out of pocket expenses are provided too.
