Be sure to check out Sheffield Union´s innovative Give it a Go programme! Its an activity extravaganza, bursting at the seams with new experiences for you to try. Last year alone, Give it a Go created nearly 20000 places covering 140 different activities; from Belly Dancing to Taekwondo… Wakeboarding to Shiatsu Massage, First Aid… Snowboarding… Self Defence… IT training… Language courses… Sushi Making… the list just goes on and on!
You don´t need to join anything or have any experience to take part and it´s a great way of meeting new people and developing new skills. All activities are designed to fit in around hectic student lifestyles, plus they all offer fantastic value for money, so fit in with student budgets too!
Keep a look out for the Give it a Go programmes around campus – there are five editions throughout the year. Simply choose which activities you´d like to try, buy your tickets in advance from the Student Union Box Office… and Give it a Go!!
