2013 Engineering Academic Achievement Scholarships Some of our engineering departments are offering Academic Achievement Scholarships for students starting in 2013. If you do well in your studies before you start your course then you could qualify.
Alumni Fund Scholarships The University of Sheffield Alumni Fund Scholarship award scheme.
The Eliahou Dangoor Scholarship

This scholarship aims to encourage more young people to consider studying Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.

Boeing Scholarship & Support Scheme For students with an interest in Aerospace Engineering who hold an offer to study in the Faculty of Engineering
Lloyds Scholars

The Lloyds Scholars programme, run by Lloyds Banking Group, offers you a financial and support package in return for volunteering in your community.

Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust The Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust.  Please bring your application form to the Financial Support Team (Ground Floor, Edgar Allen House) to complete the Institution Declaration.

Family Action To assist single parents with childcare costs.
Daiwa Scholarships 2014 The Daiwa Scholarship is a unique 19-month programme of language study, work placement and homestay in Japan. Closing Date 5th December 2013.
The Sir Samuel Osborn Deed of Gift Grants ranging from £250 - £1000 for former employees and/or residents of Sheffield.
Royal Institute of British Architects The RIBA Education Fund makes grants to students of architecture in the UK experiencing financial hardship.

Sheffield Scholars 2013

We run three special scholarships as part of our Sheffield Scholars scheme, for students starting in 2013/14:

City Scholars

If you live in the Sheffield city region, you could qualify for extra financial support for each year of your course depending on where you live and your grades.

Global Scholars

High calibre students can apply to study at an overseas university's summer school. We'll pay for your air fare, as well as tuition and accommodation.

Masters Scholars

High calibre students in the faculties of Arts and Humanities and Social Science can apply to this scheme to  have their masters year funded by the University

  • This scheme is only available to students starting in 2013/14
  • Being awarded a Sheffield Scholarship does not affect your entitlement to any other Grant, Bursary, Scholarship or Prize
