Eliahou Dangoor Scholarship
The University of Sheffield is proud to be participating in the Eliahou Dangoor Scholarship scheme. This national scheme has been funded by a generous donation from Dr Naim Dangoor and comprises a contribution of £3 million over three years. With matched funding from the government, the total funding available is expected to reach £4 million, and will assist up to 4000 students across a range of UK universities.
These prestigious scholarships will assist around 35 students coming to the University of Sheffield in September 2012. The scholarships aim to encourage more young people to consider studying Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. Each scholarship will be worth £1000 and will be awarded for the first year only.
This scholarship will have no effect on your entitlement to loans for fees or maintenance, maintenance grants or university bursaries. The Eliahou Dangoor scholarship will be in addition to any money a student receives from the university or the Government.
