Boeing Scholarship & Support Scheme

Logo.JPGIf you have an offer to study Engineering at the University of Sheffield and have a particular interest in Aerospace Engineering, you may be eligible to apply for one of our Boeing Scholarships. The Boeing Scholarship & Support Scheme is intended to promote academic excellence, wider access and progression in the fields of science and engineering. Awards are available for students commencing their study at the University of Sheffield. Each award is worth £3,000 in total. Scholarships will be paid to successful applicants once registered on their course.

To be considered you must meet the following requirements:

• Have UK nationality or at least 3 years residency in the UK.
• Hold an offer for a place on a full time undergraduate or taught masters degree course in the Faculty of Engineering at The University of Sheffield.
• You are able to demonstrate financial need and have obtained means tested support from Student Finance England or equivalent awarding agency.

Successful scholars will be high calibre students who possess excellent leadership and communication skills and an interest in Aerospace (generally and/or Boeing and/or its suppliers).
Over the summer an email will be sent to all appropriate offer holders planning to start their course at the University with instructions explaining how to apply, confirming the deadline and any other information that is required.
