Paying in Full

If you are a new student you can arrange payment of your tuition fee in full in advance of your arrival - please go to: 

(the customer number is your Applicant, UCAS or Registration Number), then click on: to pay an invoice or clear an outstanding amount.  Alternatively, you can pay your tuition fee when you register.  Existing students pay fees as part of the Online Registration process.

Is there a discount for paying my tuition fee in full ?

Yes. If your share of the tuition fee is £3,630 or more then the following discounts apply:
£50 reduction for tuition fees in the range £3,630 - £6,749
£75 reduction for tuition fees in the range £6,750 - £10,849
£100 reduction for tuition fees in the range £10,850 - £13,899
£200 reduction for tuition fees of £13,900 and over.

The discount is only guaranteed if you pay your tuition fee within three weeks of the start date of your course. You can go to:

to pay your fees in full (less any discount). You will be given the option to pay the tuition fee by credit/debit card.

Alternatively, if you are an international student, you can pay your tuition fee in full by Bank Transfer. A BACS payment form (which includes the University´s bank account details) is available for download at the top right hand corner of the screen. You must authorise your bank in your home country to make the payment no later than 19 August 2011.

Paying in Instalments

If you are a new student you can arrange payment of your share of the tuition fee in instalments in advance of your arrival, or when you register during Intro Week. You will be able to go online to arrange payment of your fee at:

The University operates two instalment plans of either two instalments or four instalments depending on the level of your fee and/or your mode of attendance (part-time or full-time study). There is no additional charge made to students who opt to pay their fee in instalments, but you will not be entitled to receive a discount if you choose not to pay your fee in full.

Payment in 2 instalments

If your share of the tuition fee is £225 or more, you are a full-time student and in attendance for the full academic year you can pay your tuition fee in 2 instalments.

The instalment plan enables you to pay 50% on 1 October 2011 and the remaining 50% on 1 February 2012.

Payment in 4 instalments

If your share of the tuition fee is £9350 or more, and you are in attendance for the full academic year then you can pay your tuition fee in 4 instalments. This instalment plan also applies to all part-time and distance learning students whose share of the tuition fee is £225 or more.

The instalment plan enables you to pay 25% on 1 October 2011 and the remaining 3 instalments, each of 25%, on 1 December 2011, 1 February 2012 and 1 April 2012 (These dates are for students who start their course in September/October.)
