Paying in Full

- Is there a discount for paying my tuition fee in full ?
Yes (except Home/EU Undergraduates). If your share of the tuition fee is £3,900 or more you will be eligible to receive 2% discount. If you receive a scholarship or are part-sponsored then the discount is calculated on the amount that is left for you to pay.
The discount is only guaranteed if you pay your tuition fee within three weeks of the start date of your course.

Alternatively, if you are an international student, you can pay your tuition fee in full by Bank Transfer. A BACS payment form (which includes the University´s bank account details) is available: please click on the right-hand download. You must authorise your bank in your home country to make the payment no later than 16 August 2013.
- Send a copy of your completed BACS Payment form to tuitionfees@sheffield.ac.uk.
If you are an international student you can also pay by Bankers Draft
- The draft should be made payable to The University of Sheffield.
- Please write your full name (family name in CAPITALS) and your UCAS/Applicant number on the reverse of the cheque and include a covering note to explain what the payment is for.

Paying in Instalments
If you are a new student you can arrange payment of your share of the tuition fee in instalments in advance of your arrival, or when you register during Intro Week. You will be able to go online to arrange payment of your fee. Please read essential information at http://www.sheffield.ac.uk/registration/tuitionfees
- The University operates two instalment plans of either two instalments or four instalments depending on the level of your fee and/or your mode of attendance (part-time or full-time study). There is no additional charge made to students who opt to pay their fee in instalments, but you will not be entitled to receive a discount if you choose not to pay your fee in full.
Payment in 2 instalments
If your share of the tuition fee is £225 or more, you are a full-time student and in attendance for the full academic year you can pay your tuition fee in 2 instalments.
The instalment plan enables you to pay 50% on 1 October 2013 and the remaining 50% on 1 February 2014.
Payment in 4 instalments
If your share of the tuition fee is £9000 or more, and you are in attendance for the full academic year then you can pay your tuition fee in 4 instalments. This instalment plan also applies to all part-time and distance learning students whose share of the tuition fee is £225 or more.
The instalment plan enables you to pay 25% on 1 October 2013 and the remaining 3 instalments, each of 25%, on 1 December 2013, 1 February 2014 and 1 April 2014 (These dates are for students who start their course in September/October.)
