Web Page Management in Student Services

There are thousands of student and staff facing web pages containing information about Student Services.
Web Editors
There are over 60 web editors in the department who are all members of the Web Page Management Group that helps steer the development of Student Services web pages. These Web Editors are responsible for maintaining and updating information on the web relating to their specific areas of interest.
Web Management Group
The Student Services Web Management Group is a forum for:
- Sharing information (CMS, cPanel, Web 2.0 technologies)
- Sharing good practice
- Discussing new developments
- Confirming maintainance responsibilities
- Discussing new technologies and how they may be incorated into the site
- Providing group training sessions
- Confirming web design and development protocols
If you edit Student Services pages, you are a member of the Web Page Management Group.
Web Management Team
The Student Services Web Management Team support these staff with advice and guidance and have overall responsibility of Student Services information on the University website.

Web Manager
Each department has one person who is responsible for the content of their web site known as the Web Manager. In Student Services the Web Manager, Scott Castle delegates some web editing responsibilities to a number of colleagues throughout the department.
