Welcome to our new web pages on student community. Here you´ll find details of good practice in community building from around the university. We hope that these pages will be a resource to colleagues across the campus and we intend that they will expand and evolve into the future.

The good practice has been drawn from research undertaken by the Student Services Department, in collaboration with the Department of Sociological Studies, during 2008

Student Services has adopted student community as a strategic priority and we will be taking this forward in a variety of ways, including by raising awareness of the issue and sharing ideas and experience.

One early step is to create these web pages, which we hope will inspire you in community-building initiatives in your own context. If you have ideas and examples which you would like to contribute to this site, please get in touch.
