University Faiths Forum

Faiths Forum is made up of members of all of the student faith societies, members of the University´s multi-faith Chaplaincy team, and members of the Union of Students. It was established in 2008.
We meet regularly during term time with the following aims:
- to work together within the University and the Students’ Union
- to organise multi-faith events
- to highlight important events and activities relating to faith
- to improve awareness of faith in the University
- to give a voice to all of the student faith societies
- to utilise the skills and experience of the various student faith groups and to appreciate the value of our diversity
Interfaith Café
The Interfaith Café is a place to meet other students with and without faith, and talk about how religion contributes to student life. We hold it in Coffee Revolution once a month during term time.
We often have students from a number of different faith communities, including Sikh, Baha'i, Hindu, Jewish, Protestant, Catholic, Buddhist and more. Not everyone talks about faith. It's a place to meet people of different faiths and also a place where you can ask questions freely.
There is usually someone from the Chaplaincy service at each café. This is a great opportunity for you to find out about what we can do to help you - a place to find out about practising your faith in Sheffield.
You don´t have to stay for the full two hours, just whatever time you may be able to spare. Just come along, no booking is necessary and everyone is welcome!
You can also join the
Interfaith Café Facebook Group
