Hello – I am June Pettitt, Minister of Underbank Chapel, Stannington, Sheffield, and Religious Advisor for the Unitarians at the Sheffield University Chaplaincy.

I was brought up as a Methodist but in my late 20s I had some doubts about certain mainstream Christian doctrines. Having moved to Sheffield I found a spiritual home at the Unitarian Church on Norfolk St, Upper Chapel, where I found that the religious and spiritual freedom there enabled me to re-connect with, and develop, my own spirituality.

Having had two children, studied for an MA in Women´s Studies and for a while worked at Mediation Sheffield, I trained to be a Unitarian Minister in the year 2000.
