Research Strategy:

Responsibility for the formulation and pursuit of research strategy lies principally with Departments. However, there are significant complementary areas of research across the School.

Through the Gide Project and the Flora Tristan Project (French), the Pérez Galdós Editions Project (Hispanic Studies), and Russian Visual Arts Project and the Bakhtin Centre (Russian & Slavonic Studies), the School has close links with the University's Humanities Research Institute.

This is designed to stimulate and facilitate research across a wide range of disciplines within the Humanities, with a particular emphasis on IT-based text-handling.
