Open Days
Open Days give you the chance to find out more about the type of academic and social life you can expect from studying at The University of Sheffield.
If we make you an offer for one of our courses you will automatically receive an invitation to one of these Open Days.
The Department will hold Open Days on the following dates in 2012:
- Wednesday 1 February 2012
- Wednesday 29 February 2012
- Wednesday 21 March 2012
- Wednesday 25 April 2012
The day will normally include:
- A visit to Student Accommodation
- Introductory talk on our courses, the University and student life
- Opportunity to meet staff and current students
- Tour of Department

Campus Tours
If you wanted to visit the University independently, there are a series of Campus Tours that you can book on to on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for which details are at:

The University also holds general Open Days, where there are exhibition stands, talks and tours of the University, so you can find out more about Sheffield and the region.
