Thesis title / scope of research
My research focuses on the nexus between religious beliefs and practices and land use. The aim is to advance the 'man-over-nature versus man-with-nature' debate by way of examining how religious world views influence land use decisions of the people of North-east Nigeria and how religious resources can be used to foster sustainable land use.
