Welcome to the Graduate School in Sociological Studies
Our Graduate School is the intellectual and organisational home for a vibrant community of postgraduate students. We offer four Masters programmes, including a dedicated research methods Masters that provides the training to undertake a research degree. We also offer MPhil and PhD degrees by research. Full-time and part-time study is available.

Our community of postgraduates numbers approximately 400 Masters and research students. Ours is a cosmopolitan community, reflecting a significant proportion of international students from different parts of the world, notably China, Latin America, North America and continental Europe.
