MMedSci in Advancing Practice - Full Time (NURT88)

The full time MMedSci in Advancing Practice is completed in one year, the taught component being delivered over two semesters. Students undertake various units exploring different aspects of advancing practice and a dissertation which provides an opportunityto apply learning to an area of personal interest. The course also offers a wide range of transferable academic skills including study skills, essay writing, referencing, literature review, and writing for publication. Pastoral and academic support is provided through the allocation of a personal tutor for the course in addition to subject specialist support for individual units. The School of Nursing and Midwifery is committed the publication and dissemination of new knowledge and insights and you will be encouraged to publish work undertaken on the course where appropriate.

Entry requirements

The course is suitable for UK and overseas applicants. You must be a qualified Nurse, with a good degree of 2.1 or the equivalent.  If you are an overseas candidate you must have an IELTs 7.
