Overview of the course:

Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Studies leading to professional registration as an Adult Nurse
The School has been commissioned by the NHS to provide the above course as an innovative route to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an Adult Nurse.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should possess a suitable Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in a cognate discipline to Nursing (e.g. Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Public Services)

English language requirements

Our standard English requirements for overseas applicants are: IELTS with an overall score of 7 (with no less than 7 in each part).

Funding

An NHS training bursary is available for the duration of the course.

Aims

The course will prepare students to work within the NHS and health and social care sectors as nurses. The course uses an innovative approach to learning alongside other health care professional groups and within health care settings to ensure that students develop the competence for effective practice, and the knowledge and confidence to progress their careers effectively following qualification.
