SISA provides advanced taught courses and high quality and bi-discipline supervision for postgraduate research degrees in clinical and non-clinical subjects related to gerontology and elderly medicine and care. It has been designated by the Research, Training and Development Commission of the European Union as a Marie Curie Training Site for Gerontological Education.
