Core academic group

The core group staff specialise in gerontological research and form an academic unit in the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The SISA academic group includes colleagues with clinical responsibilities in the Acute and Elderly Medicine Team at the Northern General Hospital of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and at Barnsley District General Hospital NHS Trust. The Core Group have published widely and hold numerous research grants.
