Research: Ethics Review Procedure

All members of staff within the department, and all supervised students within the department who are registered and who plan to undertake research which involves human participants or their data, must ensure that their proposed research is ethically approved.

This should be done using the appropriate ethics review procedure, prior to commencing the research which involves the participants or their data.
