ACADEMIC SKILLS

The Academic Skills Hub (TASH) collects links to materials that will help you learn more effectively, from Open University’s Revision and Examinations  guidance to the University of Sheffield Enterprise Skills Build. Module tutors may point towards some of this in lectures and seminars, but it’s well worth exploring it on your own as well.

The Student Services Information Desk (SSID) pages tell you almost everything you need to know about study in Sheffield. If you have questions about registration, worries about money, if you need to find a form or check the dates for your exams or graduation ceremony, SSID has a link for you.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING CENTRE

The English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC) is there for international and home students, offering Online Language Support Materials and the popular Writing Advisory Service for essays and other assignments.

The Online Directory of Modules shows brief information on all modules offered by the University – a useful place to start when thinking about module choice. More detailed information on SEAS modules is available in USpace.
