Public Health Professional Training

The Section provides support for the training of doctors and non-medics to become specialists in public health within South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire. The new MPH course and short courses will form part of the overall training support that the University provides for the membership of the Faculty of Public Health examinations and preparation of voluntary register portfolios.

The University also participates in the wider public health training programme for Yorkshire and The Humber. Professor Darren Shickle is the Chair of the Regional Public Health Specialty Training Committee.
