Biography

I have a background in sociology and have worked in the field with various foreign-aid poverty allevation projects in China. Before joining ScHARR in November 2010, I worked for a short time as a junior consultant for the WHO European Office upon graduation from the Erasmus Mundus European Master Programme in Public Health.

Research Interests

My research interests include social determinants of health, health inequalities, evaluation of public health policies and interventions in different contexts and international health. My current interests are alcohol and health inequalities, alcohol policies evaluation and the role alcohol plays in determining different health status among different population subgroups.

Previously I have been involved in research projects on HIV and migration in China and late diagnosis of HIV in Denmark.
