Biography
My research as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in Public Health is focussed on public involvement in health and social research, and also mental health. This reflects my background as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Adult Mental Health. Previous roles include Head of Adult Mental Health Psychology Services in Sheffield.

Professional Activities
I am a member of INVOLVE and the Public Panel of the Medical Research Council (MRC). I regularly peer review for major journals in the public involvement and mental health field, and for grant-awarding bodies including the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and the MRC.
